【摘要】:TheservicesdefinedinthisInternationalStandardareusedtoestablishandmaintainarelationshipbetweenanapplicationandaserverforthepurposeofexchangingapplicationmessages.ForthepurposeofthisInternationalStandardthisrelationshipiscalledanapplicationsession.Applicationprotocols,suchasECMA-323,requirethatanapplicationsessionisestablishedbeforeapplicationmessagesareexchanged.ECMA-269specifiesseveralmechanismsforestablishinganapplicationcontext.OnepossiblemechanismisACSE(ISO/IEC8649)-butsinceASCEusesASN.1encodingforitsservices,itisnotdesirableforusewithXMLbasedprotocolssuchasECMA-323.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesanXML-basedalternativeforestablishingapplicationsessions.1OverviewTheEcmaApplicationSessionServicesconsistofthefollowingservices:·StartApplicationSession.Thisserviceisusedbyanapplicationtoestablishanapplicationsessionwithaserver.AgloballyuniquesessionIDisreturnedbytheserverintheresponsemessage.ThesessionIDisusedinotherservicestoaddressthesessionaslongasthesessionexists.·StopApplicationSession.Thisserviceisusedbyanapplicationtostopanapplicationsession.·ResetApplicationSessionTimer.Thisserviceisusedbyanapplicationtoresetthetimerassociatedwithanapplicationsession.Iftheapplicationtimerisnotresetbeforeitexpires,theapplicationsessionwillbeterminated.·ApplicationSessionTerminated-Thisserviceisusedbytheservertoindicatethattheapplicationsessionhasbeenabnormallyterminated(i.e.notviatheStopApplicationSessionservice).2TemplateDescriptionTheservicesspecifiedinClause4includetablesthatcontainthefollowingcolumns:·ParameterName-thenamethatisusedtoreferencetheparameter.ThiscorrespondstotheXMLelementnamespecifiedinClause5.·Type-theformatoftheparameter.ThiscorrespondstotheXMLelementtypeusedintheXMLschemadefinitioninClause5.·M/O-theMandatory/Optionalaspectoftheparameter.MandatoryparametersmustbeincludedinthecorrespondingXMLinstancedocumentwhileoptionalparametersmaybeomitted.·Description-Describesthepurposeoftheparameter.
