【摘要】:ThistestmethodisintendedtobeusedasameanstoverifythereadabilityofRFIDtaggedunitizedloads.ThistestmethodsimulatesanRFreadpointatstageofunitizingaloadusingastretchwrapper.ReadingRFtagsonastretchwrapperisbeneficialbecausethedynamicrotarymotionoftheunitizedloadwithinthestationaryRFfieldincreasesthelikelihoodofsuccessfulreads.ThistestmethodisintendedforsystemsusedexclusivelywithintheUnitedStates.AdditionalteststandardsfromISOorotherstandardsbodiesmayapplytointernationallyhandledgoods,andmayincludeadditionaltestscenariosnotoutlinedinthisdocument.1.1Thistestmethodquantitativelyevaluatesthereadabilityofradiofrequencyidentification(RFID)taggedunitizedloadinasimulatedstretchwrapperreadpointscenario.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedforuseinlaboratorysettingsthatsimulate,ascloselyasispracticable,thedistributionenvironmentoftheproductbeingtestedorwithintheactualdistributionenvironmentitself.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
