【摘要】:1.1OverviewInnetworkcommunications,asinmanyfieldsofengineering,itisafactthat“onesizedoesnotfitall.”Engineeringdesignisaboutmakingtherightsetoftrade-offs,andthesetrade-offsmustbalanceconflictingrequirementssuchassimplicity,generality,easeofuse,richnessoffeatures,performance,memorysizeandusage,scalability,determinism,androbustness.Thesetrade-offsmustbemadeinlightofthetypesofinformationflow(e.g.periodic,one-tomany,request-reply,events),andtheconstraintsimposedbytheapplicationandexecutionplatforms.TheType15fieldbusprovidestwomajorcommunicationmechanismsthatcomplementeachotherstosatisfycommunicationrequirementsinthefieldofautomation:theClient/ServerandthePublish/Subscribeparadigms.Theycanbeusedconcurrentlyonthesamedevice.Type15Client/ServeroperatesinaClient/Serverrelationship.Itsapplicationlayerservicedefinitionsandprotocolspecificationsareindependentoftheunderlyinglayers,andhavebeenimplementedonavarietyofstacksandcommunicationmedia,includingEIA/TIA-232,EIA/TIA-422,EIA/TIA-425,HDLC(ISO13239),fiber,TCP/IP,WirelessLANsandRadios.Type15Publish/SubscribeoperatesinaPublish/Subscriberelationship.Itsapplicationlayerservicedefinitionsandprotocolspecificationsareindependentoftheunderlyinglayersandcanbeconfiguredtoprovidereliablebehaviourandsupportdeterminism.ThemostcommonstackisUDP/IP.Thefieldbusapplicationlayer(FAL)providesuserprogramswithameanstoaccessthefieldbuscommunicationenvironment.Inthisrespect,theFALcanbeviewedasa“windowbetweencorrespondingapplicationprograms.”ThispartofIEC61158providescommonelementsforbasictime-criticalandnon-time-criticalmessagingcommunicationsbetweenapplicationprogramsinanautomationenvironmentandmaterialspecifictoType15fieldbus.Theterm“time-critical”isusedtorepresentthepresenceofatime-window,withinwhichoneormorespecifiedactionsarerequiredtobecompletedwithsomedefinedlevelofcertainty.Failuretocompletespecifiedactionswithinthetimewindowrisksfailureoftheapplicationsrequestingtheactions,withattendantrisktoequipment,plantandpossiblyhumanlife.1.2SpecificationsTheprincipalobjectiveofthispartofIEC61158istospecifythecharacteristicsofconceptualapplicationlayerservicessuitablefortime-criticalcommunications,andthussupplementtheOSIBasicReferenceModelinguidingthedevelopmentofapplicationlayerprotocolsfortimecriticalcommunications.1.3ConformanceThispartofIEC61158doesnotspecifyindividualimplementationsorproducts,nordotheyconstraintheimplementationsofapplicationlayerentitieswithinindustrialautomationsystems.Thereisnoconformanceofequipmenttothisapplicationlayerservicedefinitionstandard.Instead,conformanceisachievedthroughimplementationofconformingapplicationlayerprotocolsthatfulfilltheType15applicationlayerservicesasdefinedinthispartofIEC61158.1.4TypeoverviewInnetworkcommunications,asinmanyfieldsofengineering,itisafactthat“onesizedoesnotfitall.”Engineeringdesignisaboutmakingtherightsetoftrade-offs,andthesetrade-offsmustbalanceconflictingrequirementssuchassimplicity,generality,easeofuse,richnessoffeatures,performance,memorysizeandusage,scalability,determinism,androbustness.Thesetrade-offsmustbemadeinlightofthetypesofinformationflow(e.g.periodic,one-to-many,request-reply,events),andtheconstraintsimposedbytheapplicationandexecutionplatforms.
