【摘要】:ThisStandardappliestothedesign,construction,installation,maintenance,inspection,andoperationofconveyorsandconveyingsystemsinrelationtohazards.Theconveyorsmaybeofthebulkmaterial,package,orunit-handlingtypes,wheretheinstallationisdesignedforpermanent,temporary,orportableoperation.ThisStandardshallapply,withtheexceptionsnotedbelow,toallconveyorinstallations.ThisStandardspecificallyexcludesanyconveyordesigned,installed,orusedprimarilyforthemovementofpeople.ThisStandarddoes,however,applytocertainconveyingdevicesthatincorporatewithintheirsupportingstructureworkstationsoroperator'sstationsspecificallydesignedforauthorizedoperatingpersonnel.ThisStandarddoesnotapplytoconveyorssuchasundergroundmineconveyorsforwhichspecificstandardsarealreadyineffect,ortoequipmentsuchasindustrialtrucks,tractors,trailers,automaticguidedvehicles,tieringmachines(exceptpalletloadtierers),cranes,hoists,powershovels,powerscoops,bucketdraglines,trenchers,platformelevatorsdesignedtocarrypassengersoranoperator,manlifts,movingwalks,movingstairways(escalators),highwayorrailroadvehicles,cableways,tramways,dumbwaiters,materiallifts,industrialscissorslifts,pneumaticconveyors,robots,orintegralmachinetransferdevices.Someoftheforegoinghavespecificstandards.TheprovisionsofthisStandardshallapplytoequipmentinstalled1yrafterthedateofissuance.
