【摘要】:Thistestmethodforthedeterminationofmagneticratingisconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofasbestosfibers,papers,felts,yarns,rovings,textileproducts,rigidsheetproducts,andgranularorpowderedproducts.Magneticratingisoneofthemeasurementsusedfordeterminingthesuitabilityofanasbestosmaterialforelectricalinsulation.Theelectricalinsulatingpropertiesofasbestosmaterialsvaryinverselywiththemagneticrating.Therefore,alowmagneticironcontentisrequiredforgoodelectricalinsulating.ThetypesofasbestostextilesclassifiedbymagneticratingaredescribedinSpecificationD2100.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheprocedureforthedeterminationofthemagneticratingofasbestosfiberandasbestostextileproducts.Thistestmethodisusedprimarilyfortestingasbestosinsulatingmaterials.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Warning-Breathingofasbestosdustishazardous.Asbestosandasbestosproductspresentdemonstratedhealthrisksforusersandforthosewithwhomtheycomeintocontact.Inadditiontootherprecautions,whenworkingwithasbestos-cementproducts,minimizethedustthatresults.Forinformationonthesafeuseofchrysoltileasbestos,referto"SafeUseofChrysotileAsbestos:AManualonPreventiveandControlMeasures."1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificsafetyhazard,see1.3.
