【摘要】:ASTMtestmethodsarefrequentlyintendedforuseinthemanufacture,selling,andbuyingofmaterialsinaccordancewithspecificationsandthereforeshouldprovidesuchprecisionthatwhenthetestisproperlyperformedbyacompetentoperator,theresultswillbefoundsatisfactoryforjudgingthecomplianceofthematerialwiththespecification.StatementsaddressingprecisionandbiasarerequiredinASTMtestmethods.Thesethengivetheuseranideaoftheprecisionoftheresultingdataanditsrelationshiptoanacceptedreferencematerialorsource(ifavailable).Statementsaddressingdeterminabilityaresometimesrequiredaspartofthetestmethodprocedureinordertoprovideearlywarningofasignificantdegradationoftestingqualitywhileprocessinganyseriesofsamples.RepeatabilityandreproducibilityaredefinedintheprecisionsectionofeveryCommitteeD02testmethod.DeterminabilityisdefinedaboveinSection3.Therelationshipamongthethreemeasuresofprecisioncanbetabulatedintermsoftheirdifferentsourcesofvariation(seeTable1).Whenused,determinabilityisamandatorypartoftheProceduresection.Itwillallowoperatorstochecktheirtechniqueforthesequenceofoperationsspecified.Italsoensuresthataresultbasedonthesetofdeterminedvaluesisnotsubjecttoexcessivevariabilityfromthatsource.Abiasstatementfurnishesguidelinesontherelationshipbetweenasetoftestresultsandarelatedsetofacceptedreferencevalues.Whenthebiasofatestmethodisknown,acompensatingadjustmentcanbeincorporatedinthetestmethod.ThispracticeisintendedforusebyD02subcommitteesindeterminingprecisionestimatesandbiasstatementstobeusedinD02testmethods.ItsprocedurescorrespondwithISO4259andarethebasisfortheCommitteeD02computersoftware,CalculationifPrecisionData:PetroleumTestMethods.TheuseofthispracticereplacesthatofResearchReportRR:D02x2013;1007.Standardpracticesforthecalculationofprecisionhavebeenwrittenbymanycommitteeswithemphasisontheirparticularproductarea.OnedevelopedbyCommitteeE11onStatisticsisPracticeE691.PracticeE691andthispracticedifferasoutlinedinTable2.TABLE1SourcesofVariation
